No reason to avoid an early car for performance or reliability issues, it's
only come replacement time that it gets ugly. The early cars have different
pickup points(different floorpan) for the trap arms. This makes for
different trap arms, camber links, bushings, bolts. BTDT when rebuilding Jim
Mairs early '86 5ktq. "whaddya mean the trap arms too short?"
