On that note, I bought a 2b tierod, eventually it
seemed like it bent back to it's original shape or
something.  Come to find out it was hitting the strut
opening.  I talked to 2b about it, and they admited
that on some cars they had to enlarge the strut
opening slightly.  So I whipped out my big pipe
wrench, tightend it down on the sheet metal and bent
the edge back a little.  I did this with the strut
removed.  I freshened up the bends a little, and it's
been fine ever since.  I'd say buy the 2b rod, and
make sure it clears the strut opening.  If it does,
you should be good to go for a long time.
