Wheel Nut/Bolt Torque : Clarification for the S2 ProRally Car

One quick addendum that I do not think Scott has mentioned.
On the S2 we use Compomotive wheels.  The reason I mention this
it that in each location on the wheel where a bolt or studd comes through
there is a steel insert.  Effectively creating an all-steel mating surface.

I would think that this might alleviate some of the effects of aluminum
elasticity at high temps.  Perhaps the alu can deform around the steel
sleeve, but it must certainly impact the fastener torque less.

I have noticed that this is fairly common on the Audi fitments of
Compomotive.
Although I must admit that it might have something to do with adapting
the wheel away from the Mercedes fitment...
