Typ 89 digital clock - light bulb replacement

Hello group.

Has anyone replaced the light bulb for the digital clock (in the lower part of the
tachometer)?  I pulled the instrument panel out enough to be able to access the back but
there seems to be
no bulb there where the clock is.  Any BTDT?  I hope I can avoid taking the steering wheel
out to get to the instruments and dismantle them.  Thanks.
