Thanks guys for your help. I managed to take out the instrument cluster without actually
removing the steering wheel. You have to twist it upwards while pulling from the dash
(gauges
facing upwards), then push one end back into the recess and pull the connectors on the
other end, change sides and pull the connectors on the other end, finally pull the whole
assembly
out to one side from behind the steering wheel.
The light bulb for the clock is in a deep recess, that's why I couldn't get to it with the
dash still in place. Finally, I can see what time it is when I come home late. Thanks
