I didn't do it either and my clutch pedal only comes
up 1/2 to 2/3 of the way. I like it that way as I'm
kind of tall (6'3") and it just works out better for
me. My clutch is TOTALLY disengaged 2-3" off the
floor anyway, so it's fine. Been fine for maybe
45-50k miles. BTW the Bentley mentioned something
about pre-adjusting it to a set length. I was in a
hurry and didn't bother. Getting the pin and it's
retainer out and back in there took 75-80% of the
total job. Maybe 2 hrs. total. I was SO hard to get
my fingers in there. I tried every different hole on
that casting. Needle nose pliers and vise grips.
Pushing with a long thin screwdriver. Sheeesh. I
also didn't contort too well. Next time the front
driver seat is out and I'll lay flat on the floor with
my feet on the back seat. That works out pretty well
for me and the seat comes out easy. Plus I can
recover about $10. in change at the same time.
