After the 2 week clutch job from hell, we finally got the 86 5ktq back
together and managed a test drive today. Pulls like a train and no clutch
slippage. Sweet!

One last leeetle problem though. We did the clutch pressure bleed thing
using my compressor, a sealed jar for fluid and lots of clear tubing.
Worked quite nicely. Next time someone tells me pressure bleed, I won't
suppose that vacuum bleed would work.
Now, with the new clutch, the pedal badly needs adjustment.
Am I a moron (don't answer that) or is it abso@#$%^lutely impossible to undo
that retaining nut on the clutch master rod? My back will never be the same
from laying half in and half out of the car for half an hour trying and I
still could not get a wrench on that nut!
Can anyone say they have actually adjusted the clutch pedal in a type 44?

TIA

Stephane
