2001 S4 and A4 Quattro Rear Subframes Compatibility

Hi,

The rear subframe of my donor S4 car is bent.  The rear subframe on the 98
A4 wagon that is receiving the S4 transplant is in good condition.  I have
not been able to compare these two subframes side-by-side yet.  However, I
hear that they are different.  I also checked ETKA and there are different
part numbers for the two subframes.

Has anyone out there used a regular quattro rear subframe to replace an S4
rear subframe?  Are they indeed different?  What's different about them?  If
necessary, can the regular quattro subframe be modified to replace the S4
subframe?
