Speaking of overconfidence, last night I drove home (unfortunately not
in the quattro) on an ice covered highway. A trip that usually takes 3
hours took 5 hours long, because of the bad section. There were about a
dozen vehicles in the ditch and one rollover that looked quite serious.
The interesting thing was that all the vehicles in the ditch were SUVs
and half tons. I made it home safe, but I wasn't sure while I ws going
to make it while driving on the icy sections.
Be safe! Driving a quattro can be deceiving.
