what's a MAC-10A?

Hey list,
Damn climate control in the 5kcstq. I took one of the vacuum "manifolds" from the spare programmer,
and ran all the vacuum devices straight to vacuum. I expected this to set it all up for max cooling, heater
valve closed, center vents, and something else I forget. Also pushed the heated air cable all the way in.
Ran the a/c, blows warm. Probably needs a charge on top of all the other issues. Any info here would
help.
But my real question is, while I was pulling the programmer out of my donor '87 5kt, I saw the ECU and it
is a "MAC-10A". I had only heard of like MAC11's and 14's and the single digit MAC's that I can't
remember right now that go in the ur-q's. I found one post of one for sale in the archives, and one lister's
drama trying to get an umodded one back from TAP, but not much info on what it is.
This car is supposed to be an MC-1, and I thought therefore it was a MAC-11A or MAC-11B, but surprise.
What's a MAC-10A?
Thanks,
Ken
