The yard near me has a couple 4k's and a few 5k's, all
in the mid to late 80's, in various states of
canabalization. Hardly anyone drives these around here
so they aren't that picked over. (at least not until I
get to'em) None are Quattro's, though (which may rule
out most of what's there, I don't know) but I've been
able to pull stuff myself that's useable on my Q.
Stuff like
-front bumper reflector plates next to blinkers-$10
-rear door handles-$20 for the pair, had the inner rod
and ball ends instead of the wide lever but they work
-door lock covers-$10
Anyway, anyone can e-mail me so I can look for
something and get a price, maybe a pic, and I'll send
the list a, uh, list, of the years and models sitting
out there. Who knows, maybe I can get a part and ship
it (I'm in OH) for less than yer local
hack-em-up. Or not...just an idea.
Happy Audi-ing,
