Euro light install; 100CS; splice or try to get a connector?

I've recently purchased a set of used Euro lights and I'm fairly
excited to dump the DOT lights in favor of a better pattern with stock
H4's (55/60).
The Euro light connector is completely different from the DOT
connector. Instead of the 3 flat prongs used on the 9004s, the H4 is
wired to a plug with 4 round prongs. The suggestion from the seller is
to remove the male/female connectors all together and hard wire the
lights by splicing the wires. I dunno, I'd like to get a connector and
splice that in place of the current connector.
Oh, did I mention that I was trying to avoid spending an additional
$100 + core for the Blau plug'n'play harness? If I decide to go up to a
set of 80/100 H4's, then I WILL spring for the Blau harness, but I'd
like to give this a go in the meantime.
Does *anyone* have any advice on how to go about this? Are there any
Euro listers that might be able to find me a pair of Euro connectors
for a '92 100CS? Used, new, just as long as they're in working order,
I'll be happy.
