I'd jack the car up and try turning each wheel. If there's resistance,
there's a problem there. It could be bearings, but I think there's a chance
something isn't working in the braking system, such as a pressure regulator
or misaligned parts as was mentioned before. Also check the front brakes
and make sure they're exerting most of the force. Maybe the rears are
compensating for the fronts. Try working the brakes to emulate what was
happening when you noticed the drag. good luck, this sounds weird.
