No. On my Brembos, both front and rear, the actual
metal peeled away. About 15-50 thou. deep. The
surface of the rotor was being torn away by the brake
pads. Very messy. No "corrosion protection" issues
here. I tend to be a late and hard braker and they
just weren't up to the task. Sad to say. They were
original Brembo rotors, still in the sealed boxes
right from Italy.
