Finally! New Audi S4

You've got a point there, BUT..... if this is the only power plant
that Audi intends to put in the S4, then maybe they'll intend to put the
smaller 2.7tt in the A4 as an option. I can't foresee Audi sending over a
bunch of V8's in almost every model without including the 2.7tt. Maybe
they'll start sending over the A3/S3 by the time the new S4 hits the market
in the US. I wouldn't mind signing a petition to convince Audi that there's
a market for that car here. Gimme a year or two and I'll buy one when I'm
rich.
As for the new A4/S4, I think I'll pass for all the same reasons as
Brett, but more for the obvious increase in weight, and the terrible balance
imposed by a massive V8 ahead of the front wheels. Audi is leaving a
terrible gap in the market for the weight / balance / power inclined. No
offence but I want more then the TT has to offer, like something I'll want
to drive in the winter... with a back seat.
I guess it would be to much to ask Audi to bring back the 5cyl?
