I've seen both. My 200 had plugs removed for X?
weeks? Quite surface rusted cylinders. Some Kroil
and 000 steel wool and they were good as new. Maybe.
Still had the factory crosshatch on all cylinders.
Plugs 125-130 compression across the board. At 230k
miles. Once the rust starts to actually pit the
cylinder walls, it's usually done.
