You'll NEVER guess what happened Friday night. MY
fuel pump took a crap. Drove about 175 miles from
work to reserve duty and when I get off interstate,
car dies. Go to restart and I hear the fuel pump.
Much louder and undulating noise. Start to go and car
dies three more times at traffic lights over about 2
miles. Sound now varying from loud and undulating to
almost silent. Pull into reserve center parking lot
into my spot and it's done. Tried last night after
about 5 hrs. and again this morning. Nothing. It's
getting power fine. One of the 2 working German made
pumps is going back in tomorrow. For awhile anyway.
