Yikes, I mean, no, I mean whoa....  The subframe bolts and nuts are 10.9
grade.  Once you drilled, you lost the temper on the nut.  Putting a
"regular" bolt in adds another margin of questioned safety.   I wouldn't be
at all comfortable with a helicoil in a subframe nut, or replacing a 10.9
bolt with anything less (maybe more).  Better to just use it as a washer for
another, or delete it all together and put in a new nut.  10.9 stuff is
pretty serious, ask any metric supply house about messing with the temper, or
how it's done.  The dealer charges hefty for them too, as they should, and
9/10 they are cheaper than the supply houses.  That's a first.

I just went through this on my 200 20v and rather than do the frame cutout
std. method, the hole was drilled wider, tapped and then using a helicoil kit
added a wire sleeve, or wire actually which brought the threads back to
original....and then just used regular bolt.....no cutting, welding
etc.....so far so good
