Another 1 bites the dust; Was: Bosch fuel pump death

But, if that's the case, how come after I installed a
10 yr. old, 150+ mile German pump, the car runs fine?
I drove it 60 miles Sunday after installing the pump,
and 256 today.  No problems so far.  I can't even hear
this pump.
