Amperage

Hello,
  I would like to thank Douglas Frank for the great source of wires.
It looks like that will cover me.  Next question, a tail lamp should
take less then 8 amps, correct.  I would look at the bulb, but I am at
work.  It has been a while since I studied electrical circuits.  But 8
amps seems like a lot of push to me.
