I was pretty impressed with the performance results after installing the MC
cam in my 4kq. I already had my timing advanced and a Stebro exhaust when I
put the cam in, so I'm not sure how much those mods helped the cam. It's
definitely the most bang for the buck after you've advanced your timing.

Subject: Turbo cam in N/A motor-results
Hey guys,
Just thought I'd give everyone a heads up...
The turbo has been removed from my JT code 10v, as well as the EFI. It's all
back to stock, but I left the MC code turbo cam in. I have to admit, it's a
damn good upgrade for 25 bucks! The car pulls to redline @ 6200 RPM like
nothing (I'm actually thinking about clipping the rev-limiter wire) and the
car still has the freight train low end torque. Now maybe I'm just imagining
this stuff, but I'm going to go drag race it this Friday night, and see what
she'll do with the turbo cam, straight pipe exhaust, and 15° initial timing.
I'm expecting (relatively) good things. No way it'll do better than it did
with the turbo, but it'll be fun.
The new MC motor is all bolted together, I just have to get some time to
swap it in, as well as build an exhaust manifold. I've decided to take care
of the EM once and for all and ditch the stock one.
Expect an update in a month or so (I hope anyway!)
Mike
