a/c belt removal on 4 cyl 1988 Audi 90

You need to remove the pulleys on the engine side.  There should be
4 bolts fastening the pwoer steering belt and A/C belt pulleys.
Undo those, and you need to also unbolt the front engine mount
to remove the A/C belt.  A/C belt tension adjustment is by varying
the number spacer shims between the pulley halves.
