If your cars does not have a 17mm hex in the drain plug, then it is
called a #16 triple square w/ security pin. I have also seen the letters
XZN associated with it. Example: Matra 3357. SamStag Sales:

http://asttool.com/VW_Audi/vw_audi_tools13.html. are all possible sources.

The fill plug on these later cars (only six years old!) is still a 17mm
hex, IIRC.
