A4 wheel bearing replacement procedure?

Are we really that helpless as a demographic? I'll bet the VW guys are
smelting new car parts from raw ore :-)

I know there's a tool out there I can rent to r/r the bearings with the hub
still on the car. Anyone know where I can rent one, who makes it and what it's
called?

Any other help is greatly appreciated.
