Need some advice (legal?) regarding car title.

Uh, you do have a recipt of purchase from the Dealer, don't you??

I'm in no position to give you legal advice, but IF you have a bill of sale,
you should contact the Department of Motor Vehicle Registration in your home
state and report that "slime ball dealer". I'm willing to bet the State will
light a fire under his ass.

It's too bad the unscruplous used car dealers give the other 1% a bad name.
