Radar detectors nac

Another pair of thumbs for the V1. It's far more like a laboratory
instrument than an auto accessory. One of the things I've never seen
mentioned is the seeming sophistication with which the display responds to
the characteristics of the incoming signal- I believe that it's not simply a
signal strength meter, but rather that there is some interpretive processing
going on that decides that a particular signal signature is more threatening
and the display is updated to reflect that. On my unit, I would get
near-full strength warning in an instant-on situation even though the
shooter was waaaaay ahead. Freaking killer.
Having said that, I sold mine becuase I was driving too quickly and
getting stressed out always having to be on the lookout. Much more relaxing
to drive a little more slowly :)
