AWD question

A friend of mine is looking to get one of the new Chrysler Pacificas and he's looking for knowledge.

2 choices

1-fwd w/ traction control
        or

2- awd with viscous coupling. 100% in front, able to transfer up to 90% in rear.


And also a choice in headlights- hid or xenon.


All suggestions and opinions welcome.
