I5 fuel rail for efi ideas

Some questions regarding the fuel rails from an MC2. As far as
fabrication goes, is it safe to use brass and copper to make it? Will
solder hold up under the system pressure? I'm thinking it might be
easier and cheaper to go this rout, if it's feasible.

Next, another idea is simply making and drilling a "distribution
block" with separate fuel lines going to the injectors, with the
regulator on the block? WOuld this work? I'm worried about the
clearance with the rail and the intake.

Last idea, was looking at my dad's golf, with digifant. Use the fuel
rail and injectors (from a like car) for four cylinders because the
spacing is correct and adapt a piece of another one for #5 and bridge
them together using fuel injection hose?

using adapters, is the stock frequency valve useable as a regulator?
Or is it better to use a regular efi one, with a vacuum/boost input
port on it?
