Hi Jason,

Your code 2141 and power abnormalities could be any of a number of things on
the 5ktq.

As Mike suggested, the knock sensor or its wiring could be flaky.  I
wouldn't be too quick to suspect the knock sensor, as it does sound like it
is working correctly.

You may well be running lean, and the system is trying to accommodate that
(with retard) and notify you of the problem.

You should check your fuel system: do a fuel volume delivery test and make
sure the volume is within spec.  If it isn't, the problem may be as simple
as a fuel filter needing replacement.  If the fuel filter does not fix a
volume problem, then the fuel pump would be suspect.  How noisy is your fuel
pump?

If volume is ok, check your fuel pressure.  If the pressure is low, you will
run lean, especially at high boost.  You might need to shim your pressure
regulating spring to bring up the pressure.

These are some of the more likely possibilities.
