perfectly valid points.
1) the lower price/performance cars in the audi range are not sold in the usa.
i'm talking s3 here. this car has been my favourite in the audi range (before
i drove an s8) and is set to get much better with the new model.
2) having said this, you guys down north have yet to experience the wrx/sti
thing. up south here, and in the uk as well, the bubble has basically burst
on the thing. way too many around, most seriously modified and raced by boy/racers.
what is "cool" now is stealth, sophistication, and non-turbo cubic inches.
a recent "car" magazine article on the latest evo (8) pointed this out in the
uk context.
3) drive a vw r32.
