Coolant Fan sensor in 87 4kq (Update)

tried.  It seemed to measure about .6 ohms.  I also noticed that If I
turn the AC on..The fan will come on for a few moments..Then turn
off...Then turn on for a few moments.  I thought that that would be
enough for me to get to work...Discovered I barely made it the 10 miles
to the office with that philospphy.  Is .6 ohms enough to not allow it
to kick on?  Shouldn't I be able to jump the connector and have the fan
turn on instantly, I tried, it didn't work?

You jumped the relay but did you test the sensor switch in the
radiator?
