I was messing with the inlet manifold today and was wondering about
those issues regarding the fuel rail clearing the throttle body.

I guess this question's for Nate who used the stock teardrop-shaped TB.
I was wondering what sort of clearance would be needed to get the TB to
not touch the rail. How does a 3mm clearance sound?

If the IM was perhaps positioned a few millimetres out then there'd
probably be no contact between the MM hose and fuel rail.

During a quick break today I offered the IM up to the head to see how
it'll all fit. I have a 2-piece EM and I noticed how close a fit it all
is in there. The IM touches the EM on runner 2 (I think). Looks like I
have to grind down the VW/Audi emblem on the exhaust manifold. Maybe
next time Audi should use a smaller font and not make it bold. :)
