Here is the Bentley explanation of code 2141:
"Location of Fault: Knock Regulation

Problem: Engine or ignition knock is causing timing to be retarded the maximum amount

Repair Procedures: Check ignition distributor basic adjustment, compression, and injection sustem, check fuel octane  Check knock sensor wiring using wiring diagram"

Code 2142 is for "defective [knock] sensor or sensor wiring."
