Going to install MAC-11 timing pin, where does it go?

One thing to remember when you are doing this, the 0 degree mark is 6
degrees different from a MC flywheel to a NG flywheel. The CNC coordinates
are on newtsplace.com were verified by me on a CMM, and work fine in my
turbo converted car. If you have both a MC and NG flywheel on the bench,
you can see the 6 degree difference, and verify the MC pin location. I
believe it is something like 34.5 teeth from tdc on the MC if I remember
correctly, but I could let you know for sure later in the week. One lister
out west had a urq with stock ignition and later model motor and flywheel
with the pin 6 degrees off, really detonation sensitive, almost undriveable
with a non knock sensing mac ecu.
Good luck,

I've found references using CNC coordinates, but I'm
trying to do this on the car... I'm planning on
marking the tooth closest to TDC, then going from
there. Anyone know how many teeth from TDC it is?
Also, this is an NG flywheel, I've heard it needs some
material removed before this can be done. Is this
true? I can move the sensor if needed, but simply
can't pull the engine or drop the tranny right now.

Thanks,
