1994 90S washer reservoir

Hi,

The windshield/headlight washer reservoir on my 1994 90S appears to be
leaking. I looked at the Bentley manual for the proper removal
instructions. The procedure includes removing the suspension strut. I know
that this will affect alignment so I'm not too keen on messing with the
strut. Is there any way to remove the reservoir without removing the strut?

What will you recommend for patching holes in the reservoir? Is it even
worth it to patch holes or should I just bite the bullet and replace the thing?
