still no spark

Luke,

Just a few comments that may or may not help. I wish I had more time
to advise you, but I'll be breif. This is an MC conversion right?

You need to get your distributor lined up fairly precisely, as if it
is not in the correct window, the ECU will not generate the signal for
coil to produce a spark.

Also, the speed and reference sensors need to be seen by the ECU.

If no spark then check for any codes generated by ECU/insert fuse in
fuel pump relay - ref. sjm site or other BTDT as archived on audifans.

The distributor does not need to be far off to be out of its Hall
Window. Once in window, timing will be correct per. ECU and sensors.

Something else may be indicated by pulling codes. Also, it may be wise
to utilize the correct combination of ECU for its corresponding
sensors. I still don't understand enough about what you have put
together to provide much useful help. At first I thought you had a MAC-
11 ECU and corresponding sensors, such as knock sensor, but I am
reading differently elsewhere, so am a little confused.

Don't waste your time, troubleshoot methodically. If you need to
source a MAC-11. This will help avoid frustration. IME - even with
experience, it usually takes several days to get things sorted and
running on a conversion. Straight engine swaps are not as complex, but
can still be fraught with difficulty. When you start mixing and
matching ECUs , sensors, etc. things can get tricky.

Keep plugging. Find TDC accurately - I make it a point to locate TDC
with a rod in cyl. 1 until it tops out completely - be careful not to
jam it - then the 0/hash mark should be seen on the flywheel just at
half window in bellhousing. At that point cam sprocket should b in
position. Then the distributor should also line up exactly with rotor
point to No 1 wire, and the window needs to be positioned properly, so
you just can't necessarily rotate the distributor to accomplish this,
but may actually have to move the wires so rotor/cap 1/ and window all
line up.

ok guys... help me troubleshoot my ignition...
i checked my 3 sensors, tdc, knock and rpm and all 3 are good...
checked hall sender to ecu and its good... checked the wires.. good...
checked the coil... good...
coils ground is grounded...

just a thought... is there a chance the timing pin is different from kh
to mc?
could this be my problem?

one thing that makes me suspicious that something is hooked up wrong
is as soon as the key goes to acc the oil pressure jumps up before the
engineis started... what sensor sends oil pressure?
how do i check it?

what else should i check?

man im so frustrated right now...

timing is correct...
at tdc the rotor points at 1...
what connectors affect ignition?

everything was working before i put the engine in so im doubtful of a
failure of any sort...
so id like to assume everything works perfect...

thanks...

<snip>
The engine is a stock 4kq JT block and head modified to recieve the
turbo parts and MAC-07 management from an '85.5 5kt. Luckily the
previous owner had replaced the engine at some point and installed an
MC flywheel with timing pin so as to get a larger clutch! After
verifying the KH and MC computers expected the pin in the same location
I clearanced the block to fit the flywheel sensors
<snip>

so that can be ruled out...

Why MAC-07 - have you tried to source a MAC-11?
