the dist will only go in at certain points... if i try to put it on an angle
in
between windows it wont slide in...

i dont see how it can be off... there are only a few ways it can go in...
both lines on dist are lined up and pointing horizontally along the valve
cover
towards the grill...

its basically 100% KH with an MC block and head... everything else
is stock KH... mac07a

only MC sensor im using is knock because its rust/welded on there...
and my KH one has a broken wire...

ok... i tried it at 0/hash mark on the flywheel...
now the cam gear's mark is way off...
but the 1 cylinder is at the top....
no spark...
from now on ill assume this is TDC...
before i was rotating it until i had a compression stroke
on cyl 1 (plug it with my finger until it blows out) which
corresponded with the cam gear marking...

confusing...

i can get a mac11... but then the rest of the engine is KH stuff including
harness
and sensors and id like to avoid mixing and matching and splicing...

flywheel only bolts on one way right?
