Good SCCA racing in Rumford Maine this weekend, if that's the area you're in. Maine Forest Pro Rally time again. Should be especially good with all the rain.....

Ever seen a Panasport? Gorgeous wheel, very old design(at least
30-40 years?) and available in 15" and smaller.

Wheel selection is a function of what kinds of roads you drive on,
personal taste, seasons, brake systems, suspension setup...the list
goes on. It's also not as simple as "bigger is better"; as you
increase rolling diameter, your effective gear ratio goes up...not to
  mention, most 17" wheels weigh a lot more- 5 to 10lb or more...than a
15" wheel. My Ronal R28's weighed over 10lb more than the stock
  200q20v rim(15lb).

  >how many A4's do you see with 14inch wheels??? NONE. 0. noda. zilch.

That's because they don't fit, for one, smart guy.

Cruise the pits at an SCCA race like ITS etc...and take note of all
  the 15" wheels, sometimes smaller.
