Come on, not many left, got to be worth more than this!

Item no.2425772040

Email me for pics., words as follows:

Audi 200 Quattro Turbo Avant 1987. 170,000 miles, Nautic blue metallic and
full specification i.e. black leather, climate control, electric heated
seats with position memory, cruise control, computer, sunroof, towbar, etc.
The radio-cassette is not included.
Huge, incredibly useful load hauler and goes like stink. Owned by myself for
the last 6 years and used as my tow-car, took us to Spa-Franchorchamps and
back only a fortnight ago. Now has to go as I have bought a diesel A6. There
are a few things that need sorting out with it and I just haven’t the time
to do it myself.

Car is in generally good condition considering it is 16 years old but does
have the odd dent here and there and some minor rust patches. Some clown
also thought it’d be cool to run a Stanley down the nearside a couple of
years ago, fortunately he didn’t get as far as the primer so it doesn’t
really notice unless you get close up.

The following have been replaced in the last 3 years: complete factory
exhaust system (the original lasted 13 years), all 4 shock absorbers, front
discs and various sundry suspension bushes as required.

Faults: air-conditioning and seat heating have never worked in all the time
I have had the car. Cruise control no longer works and the car needs a new
battery since it won’t hold a charge (alternator is OK).

Short MOT expires 9th August. Fail sheet dated 24th July states:

NSF Outer CV boot split
Rear load sensing valve seized.
All exhaust rubbers split and broken.
Tester also failed to note that the two rear tyres need replacing.

Load sensing valve will probably free up if removed and cleaned, the rest is
trivial but, like I have already said, I simply haven’t got the time or
inclination.

There is no road tax.

There weren’t many of these in the first place and there are even fewer
left. It’s far too good to break, just needs an enthusiast to sort out a few
minor problems and restore it to it’s former glory. Please, no time wasters,
I am more than happy to discuss any aspect of the car, just email me first.
Or come and have a look....
