Fuel pump relay would be my first guess.  They're known to go bad all
the time, mostly from failed solder joints, I believe(they crack,
arc, build up resistance, and finally just stop working entirely).
You can pop them open pretty easily- have a peek in there, maybe
re-solder some of the key connections(just adding a little NON ACID
flux-core solder should be sufficient).

Be careful gerfingergrabbin if the car was just running- especially
during their final days, the FPRs can run very hot because of the
high resistance.
