Luke,
I'm glad to hear you got it running. This internet problem has me
several days behind in my email - unless I read the latest first, in
which case I miss what is happening.
I would look into the possibility of making it a MAC-11 system even if
you need to run/change a few wires and add some sensors. There are a
coupe of reasons. First, the knock sensor capability. Second, more
collective knowledge and parts available for it. Third, an inexpensive
chip is available that will give an additional 60 or so HP without
engine modification.
Keep sortin it out. I'm doing the same with my NG transplant into a
4000 quattro.
