Just curious: Has anyone converted a V8 to a 5cyl MC Engine?

Hi,

The automatic V8 body has a HUGE center tunnel for the transmission. My understand is that the manual V8 body doesn't have this same huge center tunnel.

Just something to keep in mind if you are looking for a body to swap into.

IIRC, the V8 cars share the unitbody and sub frames with the 91 200 20V
TQ. (Or rather, the 91 shares the V8 stuff). Anyway, the sub frames are
different between the two cars. Not just the frames, but where they
mount to the body and everything. I have chassis dimension charts for
the 5000/200 Q's, and the 91 200 20V TQ. It's odd, since the doors,
hood, trunk, fenders, etc. all interchange. In fact, many of the
sub-frame components interchange too, but the frames themselves mount
differently.
While on the subject, does anyone know where there's a V8 or 91 200 20V
TQ unit body sitting around?
