5000TQ does not want to start

Last winter my 5000Tq didnt want to start. The engin does not turn at all. =
I went under the car and saw a big wire , i pulled it and its scrap. It s g=
oes to the starter,, seems to be a ground. Th en a let the car there.

Today i decided to fix the problem.

-When i turn the key, the fuel pump suppose to run 2 to 3 sec , but does no=
t .... is it because the wire ? (ground one) is still broken or after coupl=
e month the problem got bigger ? maybe the computer makes some test and saw=
 the starter problem so it does not want to engage the pump ?


everything else works.
