Just curious: Has anyone converted a V8 to a 5cyl MC Engine?

I checked it out when I got home from work.
He did his homework and it appears that you can use the
Factory Core Support. That I did not know. But I would want
the front end to look right which means the V8 headlamps. Maybe
that is what opens up the can of worms requiring new fenders,
etc. I'm not sure.
It does appear easy to do just the swap, but I do not like the
look that way. It needs to integrate well and look good. If it
looks botched then that sort of defeats the purpose of doing it
in the first place, asthetics. If it had some performance
benefit then maybe I could overlook the gaps. My Audi 4ktq has
a very rought front end. But thats to make room for the
Intercooler, removable core support, etc. Its acceptable to me
for a performance benefit. But to upgrade the looks of a type
44 by doing that doesn't fit for me if it doesn't look
"finished".
Ok, I'll stop babbling. Thanks for the info and the link
though.
