Just curious: Has anyone converted a V8 to a 5cyl MC Engine?

Brutal. Honestly, how much money is worth putting
into a V8 autobox, drivetrain wise. The diesel part
is no joke, especially 3rd world. Nothing wrong with
"the car". I thought about diesels for my Dorf
pickup. Magirus, Iveco, Merc. ,Hino and Mitsu. In
that order I think.
