Wheel fitment for an 2003 A4

I have a question from a friend with a 2003 A4 1.8tq.  He's found some
BBS Moda's, 16x7's from an Audi V8 (seller claims).  Question is will
the wheels fit his car.  He's looking at these for snows and the seller
isn't knowledgeable about these wheels.  My friend is going to send
another email to point the seller to where the wheels show the offset.
    I thought I would ask the Collective for their opinion. I am not as
knowledgeable in the newer models as some of you out there in Audi-land.
