How thick is a stock MC intercooler?

Thanks Javad.
I have someone interested in my stock intercooler for use on a Hyundai
Elantra turbo project (!!). He got a K26 from a friend and is just
looking for any intercooler 'cos this'll just be a toy. What I'm asking
for the stock unit pretty much covers what I need for 2 Saab
"Blackstone" intercoolers. I'll need aluminium endtanks, but that was on
the cards for the stock intercooler anyway. I might even make a few
pennies to tie over this financially difficult time I'm in. :)
I know the mass counts for alot in terms of heat absorption. What about
volume? I'll only be losing 120cc - 217cc of volume (assuming Blackstone
cores are 2.5" or 2.75" thick).

Bar and plate cores typically flow better, weight in an IC is a good thing as often a large part of the IC's cooling is in the heat it soaks into its own mass, the other what it can pass off to the ambient air. Overall, however, teh stock core is a very nice piece, and with the right endtanks can make a good IC for up to 300hp applications.
