Flywheel pin information for KH motor

I hate to throw a wrench into the works, but I seem to remember the MC
timing pins being 4mm (.15748"). I am not sure it would matter, but it is
what I used on my 80tq, with the (precision) measurements taken off of a MC
flywheel and documented here.
These lightened 80 flywheels have been used on at least two 80 turbo
conversions, so they work!

Good luck,

Great info on pin size. It looks like I will borrowing some company machin
=
e time during lunch tomorrow to get that installed.

On my KH I have the motor already built and a fair amount of work invested
=
into porting and thermal coatings. I did try a MC head at one point during
=
my buildup and it would not fit without modifying the block. The cam on t
=
he other hand is probably a good future plan as I did measure more lift.

Fortunately I have a very late KH and it has a water cooled turbo already.
=
Also all its backlashes measured on the bottom end of the spectrum so I di
=
d not touch it for fear of messing up a good thing.

Thanks again

Eric

almost exactly 3/4" down from the top of the teeth
in a straight line...
the 0 tdc mark is beside a tooth... next tooth over is 1
the pin is between 35 and 36
