On the CGT, the brake proportioning valve is mounted under the car,
at the right rear, with a link to the rear axle via a spring.
The master cylinder may be different between your CGT and the 80,
depending on your VIN and whether the 80 has ABS, and whether either
car has a Girling or Ate master cylinder.

Your stock master cylinder should work just fine with the 80's rear disc
brakes.
