Hardi hub help

I got a Nardi hub for my 87 CGT so that I can install my S2 steering wheel (actually a 90 Sport wheel). But the Nardi hub did not come with a turn signal cancel/horn contact thingie (no clue what it's really called). The only instructions said to "install the signaling device from your original wheel". Well, I'm baffled. I removed it from my stock wheel. When I put it on the Nardi hub there are some problems. First there does not appear to be a what to lock it in place. There are 3 screws on the hub that look like they are to install the signal device but there are no corresponding holes on my stock one. Second when placed on the back of the hub, it makes the depth of the hub wrong and it wont bolt up (spline on the steering shaft not long enough to screw on the retaining bolt). So, I have 3 questions. First am I just doing something wrong in my install of the stock signaling device? Second, can I just buy a signaling device from Nardi for my car?  And last, if not, do any of the other aftermarket hubs that are compatible with a type85 and Nardi bolt pattern come with turn signal canceling devices and horn contacts built in?
